Weber S 470 Gas Grill

I just purchased the Weber S470. If I had more reoom in the area where the grill go I would have gotten the S670. Any way man what a grill. Was always a Charbroil kinda guy becuse I hated to part with my money. They worked well but after three years or so I was always trying to find parts to replace from Homedepot and have bought 5 or so the last 20 years. The time wasted replacing parts just isn't worth the saving becauses sh#t always happens when you don't need it to. I wasn't lQQking to spend what I did but sure glad I did even though it was'nt the fill sticker of $1800 plus tax (you always shop for the best pricing and ya can save hundreds).
She has everything. Has real nice quality stainless steel metal, rolls real well across my deck. Even my wife who thought the Genesis would have been more then good enough is glad we went for it. We cook all year and the added lights on the nobs and handle to see what ya cooking will work real for the colder seasons when it gets dark earlier. My spot light is behind the grill facing into the deck so you can never see what ya cooking. The Lp scale will help when our large family is over so we know when were running light on fuel (always have atleast one spare bottle).
I also found out if I purchase the larger 15.4 grate from the 420 I can remove the smoker when not in use and have more grilling area. I know the smoker flame is facing sideways but well worth the extra area for larger parties. The fold away rotissary and storage hooks below to hold them are sweet. The next time I hope to write about a grill will because we want a bigger one and not because we are not satisfied with this one as I know that will not happen because "It's a Weber".
