Try A Weber Ranch Kettle Charcoal Grill

This is a kettle grill on steroids. It's HUGE! I really really want one. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure I'm going to purchase a Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker Smoker first. It fits more in line with my needs at the moment. But don't let my minimalist needs deter you. Check out the facts below and make your own decision. This is a recommended grill if you entertain 10 or more hungry stomachs regularly.

In full disclosure, I ended up buying a Bubba Keg because 1) it uses less fuel than a WSM, and 2) it's portable with an included trailer hitch and 3) it's so well insulated that I can have it in my screened in deck where my Toddler may be.

So far, I'm loving it.

• Missing the flip up section of the smaller Weber grills for managing the coals
• It's extremely expensive at $1,000
• No built in hood thermometer

That about sums up the Weber Ranch Kettle grill. It's a perfect fit for feeding a hoard of ranch hands, that's for sure. I guess when you think about it, if you're a charcoal or wood kind of guy, this is a lot less expensive than some of those large gas grills that cost many times this price. However, they have all the cute bells and whistles that most traditional barbecue folks chuckle at.
