All in all, the best gas grill is probably one of the Weber gas grills. The company has been an innovator throughout its history and the history is a long one.

It's really hard to think of another company that puts out quality products year after year and is known for great customer service on top of that. While they broke onto the scene over 50 years ago with an innovation to brazier grilling, in more recent times, Weber has become know for its gas grills.

Weber gas grills come in lines. First, there's the Weber Q series which is compact and portable. The Weber Q 100 is one of those gas grills and is the entry point for their portable gas grill line.

Weber's next entry into the gas grill space is the Weber Spirit series. This is the low end and affordable stainless steel gas grill. It looks great and for the price, it's very well made. Anyone that wants a gas grill and has a limited budget should look long and hard at this series as opposed to other brands that might be a few bucks less.

Here's the reason....Weber products last! The don't rust out and fall apart in a year or two. It may seem cheaper now, but if you have to replace your grill every other year, you're going to spend a lot of money, unnecessarily.

The Weber Genesis series is the moderately priced full featured gas grill from Weber.  These Weber gas grills are well built and designed to last. I mean last 10 years. I know from experience that some brands with similar pricing and features are good for 3 years and that's it! They look so good in the show room but that soon ends. You end up with a sagging mess on your deck.

The top of the line in Weber gas grills is the Weber Summit series. These are full featured gas grills with all the bells and whistles. And of course, they're built to last just like the lower end grills. Personally, once you get to this price point, most of the grills are high quality so it makes sense to look at other brands. But, if you're a Weber fan may there's no reason to do that. You're going to get quality so looking around is really up to you.

Weber is always the better bet in the low and middle end gas grill market.

• Backed by a company with 50 years of experience
• High quality construction means these grills will last at least twice as long as many competitors
• Consistently excellent customer service which is more than I can say for some other popular brands

Cons

• Weber gas grills will typically cost a bit more than the competition
• That's pretty much it

Summary

You can't go wrong with a Weber grill. It doesn't matter if it's a gas grill or a charcoal grill / smoker, you're getting quality. The have a wide range of product offerings to meet the budgets of any family. If quality is a big deal for you, like it is with me, check out the line of Weber grills.
