Vermont Castings VCO620P Grill
by Sir Dukes Dad
(Alpharetta, Ga)
I wanted a grill that was solidly built and wouldn't be wobbling like it was on it's last leg in a year. I also wanted a grill whose burners and grates wouldn't burn out in a year. I found that Vermont Castings used cast aluminum for all body parts except the base and it was heavy molded plastic. The grates are porcelain covered with flat tops, not rounded, and the burner was cast brass. I have had the grill for four years and only needed to replace the venturi. It still stands as solid and strong today as it did when first purchased. Cooking is excellent with balanced heat controls (two controls for an H shaped burner) and the ignitor still works ! Quality of Vermont Castings is beyond that of any other grill I've previously owned, and that incldued Webers, Kenmores, Charbroil and Ducanes. I'd purchase again without doubt.
