Uniflame SG380 No Replacement Parts

I have used my Uniflame SG380 for several years now. No problems at all until now. My burners finally gave out, but the rest of the grill is in very good condition considering it's age. It's still shiny!

I called BlueRhino to ask where I could purchase new burners. The person told me it was a discontinued series and that there were no known replacements parts for it.

In other words, I'm the proud owner of a boat anchor. I started looking online to find them. They're all over the place. Pricing ranges from $16.95 to $29.00. Why didn't Uniflame have them?
Seems like they would have surely been able to direct me to SOME store for an inquiry???

I've just spent over an hour online trying to find new heat plates and burners for my Uniflame SG380-2 grill. No success at all in finding heat plates and the cost for new burners is exorbitant. The grill itself is in beautiful condition on the outside -- it's just that the inside is deteriorating rapidly. Someone just made a suggestion to tear out the innerds and turning it into a charcoal grill. What a waste!

I have the same problem this grill was a great deal at walmart and lasted for years. I had the same issue with their customer service. but now it seems the cost of the replacement parts cost more than a new weber.damn boat anchor
