When it comes to grilling equipment, Blue Rhino is at the forefront with its Uniflame grills line. Blue Rhino got its name from Billy Primm, an entrepreneur that was involved in, among other things, propane cylinder exchange. He started a national tank exchange company, capitalizing on grill sales, with growth that expanded rapidly. He began building a brand name that would be known forever.

While on safari in 1994, Billy saw a rhino: big, sturdy, tough and looking like a tank. Wondering out loud, he noticed that the horn of the rhino could be the perfect frame for a flame. He colored that rhino blue and the flame yellow, and the name Blue Rhino was born.

Blue Rhino is now America's top propane tank exchange brand and leading designer and marketer of barbecue grills. Part of the Ferrellgas Corporation since 2004, Blue Rhino produces the Uniflame grills. Ferrellgas started in 1939 as a family owned propane company in Kansas and now has over one million customers.

Keeping the Earth green is a great concern for Ferrellgas and Blue Rhino as they recycle all propane tanks making them reusable by cleaning, refilling, testing, and repackaging. Gas grilling reduces the carbon footprint by cutting back on carbon dioxide emissions that can be produced from charcoal grills. Through its austerity, the company saves rhinos and other forms of wildlife and land areas.

Blue Rhino, in May of 2008, released a report of the top twenty ideal grilling locations. Number one was San Diego, California, number ten was Boise, Idaho, and number twenty was Lansing, Michigan. They figured this list from the number of months available n the areas to produce the optimum effect for grilling.

Wherever you are grilling, it is suggested not to reuse charcoal with your grill, and to clean it, use non-abrasive cleaners. Do not use your electric grill from Uniflame indoors; it is only made for outdoor use. The heat will be anywhere from 200ºF to 375ºF, depending on which model you purchase.

Easy to assemble, the Uniflame Unigrills are available in different sizes. Completely constructed from stainless steel, they are sturdy and will last long in any climate. There is a side countertop accompanying the grill so that you can place food or pots on it as you cook.Uniflame Grills There are multileveled adjustments for the grill with a gas burner. Beside the gas tank is a small storage unit so that you can keep some of your extras outside with the grill, away from the weather for protection.

Uniflame Grills are also available in charcoal burning models, not just Uniflame gas grill. The 22" square is one that the consumer will assemble, with clear instructions making this an easy task. The Uniflame 253303 is a great portable gas grill to take along on camping trips and the like. It runs on two small propane bottles and has a warming rack that will tuck under the lid, as well as being large enough to cook half dozen good-sized burgers or a few large steaks. It is ready to heat cook quickly, with well-distributed heat.

The Uniflame line from Blue Rhino and Ferrellgas is available at many major outlets including Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Sears, and Best Buy.
