Uniflame SG380 No Replacement Parts

by Jon
(Claremore, OK, USA)

I have used my Uniflame SG380 for several years now. No problems at all until now. My burners finally gave out, but the rest of the grill is in very good condition considering it's age. It's still shiny!

I called BlueRhino to ask where I could purchase new burners. The person told me it was a discontinued series and that there were no known replacements parts for it.

In other words, I'm the proud owner of a boat anchor. I started looking online to find them. They're all over the place. Pricing ranges from $16.95 to $29.00. Why didn't Uniflame have them?
Seems like they would have surely been able to direct me to SOME store for an inquiry???

Uniflame Model GBC1059WB

by Tonya
(La Porte, IN)

Bought it as a present for my husband for Fathers Day.... looks good and works good other than the knobs! Everytime you touch them the black coloring comes off onto your hands! We have tried wiping them down but the black continues to come off! There seems to be an issue in the colorant used on the plastic parts of the knobs!

Uniflame LP Gas Grill

by Paula
(Ontario canada)

We got this at the end of the season 2 years ago, marked down from $499, we scooped it for $249, it was simple to assemble.

Worked fantastic the first year we got it,
then last year by the end of the season we noticed that the flames weren't distributing evenly and the rear ones were weak not as strong as the front, we cleaned it and stored it.

We just brought it out, and now only have flames in the front, none at all at the rear. We also noticed (since we've had it) that it makes a loud whistling sound we thought was just the force of the propane being distributed.

The back searing works marvelously and it looks brand new and prestigious.

I am heart broken that we can only cook at the front.

Uniflame NSG3902D Gas Grill

USD 100 plus shipping to replace the heat plates that are falling apart in pieces is just ridiculous.

The Uniflame business model is interesting, sell a cheap product that does not look it and soon the customers will start paying handsomely for the required spare parts.

Uniflame GBC730w rusted out in one year

by lisa hicks
(maryville tn)

I bought a Uniflame GBC730w last summer, kept it covered and when I opened it this year the guts are completely rusted out. Walmart does not carry replacement parts. A grill should last more than a year.

UNIFLAME CHARCOAL GRILL MODEL # NPC1827BLN - Need Help

by Rick

WE HAVE A UNIFLAME CHARCOAL GRILL MODEL # NPC1827BLN. A VERY DEAR FRIEND GAVE THIS GRILL TO MY WIFE FOR HER BIRTHDAY TWO YEARS AGO,WE USED IT ON HER BIRTHDAY,THEN TWO MONTHS AFTER OUR FRIEND HAD TO BE PUT IN A NURSING HOME WHERE HE PASSED AWAY,SO THE GRILL MEANS A LOT TO MY WIFE. WE KEEP IT COVERED WHEN NOT IN USE,CLEAN IT AFTER EACH USE. WE STARTED TO USE IT TODAY AND THE BOTTOM FELL OUT. THAT IS NOT RIGHT FOR A GRILL THAT COST SO MUCH TO RUST THRU IN LESS THAN TWO YEARS WITH THE CARE WE GAVE IT. IT IS ALL GOOD EXCEPT FOR THE BOTTOM ABD THE ASH BUCKET. THE BAD PARTS ARE:

BOWL 55-14-788,SLIDE 55-14-796,
ASH RECEIVER 55-14-797 AND
THE MOUNTING HARDWARE

I DO NOT KNOW HOW LONG YOU COVER REPLACEMENT PARTS BUT IF IT IS NOT COVERED YOU CAN EMAIL ME AT --not published-- or fax me at --not published-- or phone me at --not published. fax would be the best way to contact me.

thank you for taking the time to read my letter and thank you for all your help in this matter. you and your family have a great day<><><>every day

Uniflame NSG3902D

I purchased my grill about 2 years ago and thought I was getting a great deal. The purchase price was 249.99. Last year a storm threw the grill off of my deck on to the front of the grill. The front panel needed to be replaced.

I called Uniflame and the part was 70 some dollars plus a ridiculous amount if shipping. I live in Michigan so my grill is stored during the winter. I would think this would make the lifetime of the grill even longer.

This year I took the grill out and have discovered that the grids are destroyed, rusted and peeling. Puts quite a crunch in your food. I again called Uniflame and have now been told $80.00 for the 2 grids and $20 for shipping. You cannot purchase a grid that would fit anywhere (purposely????).

Think I'll just buy another grill and this time I will check the cost and availability of parts. I will never purchase another Uniflame (Blue Rhino) item again and advise that if this is what your looking at be prepared for costly parts as will be necessary..

Protected Uniflame GBC621C Grill Didn't Last

by Ronald
(Weslaco TX)

Grill was in storage or undercover at all times with a cover on it when not in use, yet the main burner, electrode brackets and all surrounding metal rusted enough in 4 years to make the grill unsafe to use. Replacement burner costs just under half of what I paid new for the grill. I purchased the grill at a large big box store and they do not carry replacement parts for that grill even though they still have at least one on the floor for sale.

Uniflame GBC1025W Gas grill

by Gwen
(Florida)

I love my grill, but when it gets hot the metal/plastic handle is TOO hot to touch. It is very dangerous. I burnt myself several times. We had company & forgot to tell them to use a potholder.

I am presently trying to tie hot pads to the handles, but it doesn't stay (& I'm afraid the tie might burn off).

Uniflame GBC920W1 Gas Grill Disappointment

by John

I own a uniflame gas grill model # GBC920W1 and I'm thoroughly disappointed with it. After only a couple of uses the paint inside the hood and on the grilling surface itself started flaking off and ending up on my food. I realize it's your cheaper model but none the less, I will never buy your products again!

FYI, John - This is not the Uniflame manufacturers site. However, we appreciate your feedback since most manufacturers review the comments here and on other related sites.
