Traeger TEX 075
by John
(San Diego, CA)
Before I bought my Traeger, I did hours of research and found it interesting that some people loved it and some didn't. With every product, there will always be a percentage that will have problems. Traeger is no exception, so it is understandable that some people had problems, but that didn't stop me from buying one. I certainly didn't overlook all the postings which had high praise for the Traeger. Now that I own a Traeger, I've talked to a lot of Traeger owners. I have yet to find someone who has had an unresolved issue or voiced a complaint with regard to Traeger's customer service. Some of the comments/reviews seem suspect. Were they posted by Traeger's competitors? Are they legit? The posting by a former Treager dealer raises many red flags about the dealer, not Traeger. Here are my thoughts...Made In China? What isn't made in China these days? If you don't want something made in Chins, then get rid of your computers and T.V's, because they are all made in China. Here's a little known fact: Many companies have the majority of their components made in China, then shipped and assembled in the U.S., just so they can label it "Made in USA". Traeger didn't create the loss of jobs in the U.S. Instead, Congress has made it almost impossible for U.S. companies to manufacture in the U.S.A. With that said, I LOVE MY TRAEGER BIG TEX. I use it as much as I can and I have never had an issue with it. All the Traeger owners I have talked to say they will never cook on anything, but a Traeger, and I am one who agrees completely with that statement. This is the easiest BBQ grill I have ever used and the food is fantastic. Nothing gives a better taste to food like wood and everything I cook gets rave reviews. It took me months to find the perfect grill and I am very happy to have found it in my local Costco store during a special event show featuring Traeger grills, otherwise I never would have known that Traegers existed. Thank you Costco and thank you Traeger for making a great product.

Traeger Lil Tex Disappoinment
by J. Shepherd
(Harrison AR)
I was very disappointed with my lil Tex grill. The control panel went out after about th fifth use. Almost every time we tried to start the grill, we had to totally disassemble the grill and vacuum everything and put it back together to get it to start. Several times it just went out. This time the auger jammed. The grill does not get hot enough. In general, this grill sucks! $500.00 plus down the drain.
