Disappointed. Nothing more than an outdoor convection oven. Steaks and burgers cook like you boiled them or cooked them in the oven. Seems like the only application for this grill is slow cooking inexpensive cuts of meat so they are tender enough to be eaten.

Did you call Traeger's 800# for help or suggestions? They are very helpful and will work you through any operating problems you are having. By the way, I also use my Traeger for very expensive cuts of meats, which I would never cook in my oven. The best Prime Rib I have ever eaten came out of my Traeger. I'm cooking a Tri-tip this afternoon. Can't wait for Thanksgiving...
