Tec Sterling I

Nothing gets hotter than a TEC. That's fantastic for steaks and meats that need a serious searing. It's not so good for ribs because it really cannot cook terribly well on low setting. There is no terribly low setting. It is put together like a tank. I have had mine long enough to replace the innards, 13 years this past Christmas. Nothing but the burners can wear out. I love to grill steaks, kabobs, some chicken and brown roasts on my TEC. I can do ribs if I cook them in the oven for a couple hours on approx 250 degrees, then put them on the grill for proper grill marks and such. I plan on using my TEC forever and replace the innards again in 8 to 10 years if necessary.
