Propane Grills Make Barbecue EasyPropane Grills voted #1 by consumersToday, four out of five American families own a grill, the most important piece of equipment in outdoor cooking. Consumer demands show that while more people prefer the smoky flavor and aroma of barbecue on top of flaming charcoal, propane grills remain the number choice when they make the purchase. Propane's preferred because it's so convenient and easy to use as a fuel source, especially when you're throwing an outdoor party that is packed with a lot of activities other than cooking. Propane grills have on and off switches that make it easy to start grilling almost on demand. These grills also have temperature control knobs, which you won't find on a charcoal grill. You can also switch it off quickly, without dealing with flaming hot embers, which are also a problem will cooking because they tend to blow around with the wind. There are some let downs though on using this type pf barbecue grill.
For some, they contend that charcoal-grilled meat has that distinct smoky flavor that gives the meat its characteristic delicious aroma and taste. Also, using flammable gas has its dangers, especially when it comes to leaks; so it is very important that the gas cylinder is properly checked. But overall, as long as you have everything properly set up with your grill, and prevent children from touching or playing with it, it should provide you with the most convenient way of grilling your pork, chicken, fish or beef.
Common propane grills can cost as low as $200-400 and the most advanced can cost as high as $4000. Among medium-sized grills the most commonly recommended is the Weber Genesis E-320, which is rated high by consumers due to its excellent cooking results, safety and convenience. The most affordable you could get with this model is around $500. For bigger sized grills, the Viking T Series valued at $3200 and the Weber Summit S-650 at about $1750 are great buys according to consumer survey reports. Aside from having the luxury of grilling pounds and pounds of pork and chicken, they do an excellent job in evenly cooking the meat and bringing out the most desired flavor. The most important thing to consider boils down to these three features: durability, convenience, and of course, the features. Your weekend party may get put on hold if your cheap grill falls about when you throw that last burger on it.
