I don't know what it is about outdoor cooking, but there comes a time of year where I just wanna burst out of my house! I guess I get tired of cooking in the kitchen with all the smells building up, and the dishes to do.

Yea, that's one of the great things about cooking outdoors, no one complains when I break out the paper plates. And the only thing that needs to be cleaned is the grilling surface, and my tongs!

I've seen those shows on television with the 10 best outdoor setups. Where that kind of money comes from I don't know. But, it's obvious that when you get to a certain point, you can have anything you want in an outdoor kitchen. For example, I saw one show where there were dual ovens built into a brick wall. One guy actually had a wood burning pizza oven.

But me, I pretty much stick to grilling when I'm outdoors. It's simple, clean and I don't need a lot of money to do it. I've never even been invited to a party with a big fancy setup like that! I doubt I ever will.

Anyway, back to the point of this area. I'm going to be talking about everything related to outdoor cooking right here! There's nowhere else you'll need to go. Personally, I'm inclined to cook my meals in the comfort of my own backyard; although I'm known to wander over to a neighbors when I smell a large piece of meat being smoked. I'm not as into the tailgating scene, but I know guys that have the total deal at a football pre-game. I have to admit, it looks like fun. But, it also looks like a lot of work. Each to his own!
