I bought this grill from Sam's club in 2004. Initially it worked well. Eventually (after about 3 years) the burners corroded, the cooking grates fell apart and the flame tamers disintegrated. I bought replacement "stainless" parts. The cooking grates which were supposed to be solid stainless turned out to have steel cores and did not last. I had to replace them again in 2 years. About every two years I have to decide is this grill worth putting $200 more in parts?

I know that in 6 years of ownership that I have spent more than $700 in parts. The exterior shell still looks new, but once again I am having to make the same decision. I priced the parts I need and $250 would do it this time. Since the grill, even with new parts, fails to cook well now, I am through with it.

I just ordered a Weber grill.....

This grill worked pretty well when new, but most of the parts were not built to last. It looks pretty, but parts are so pricey and need replacing so regularly that now I am throwing out my shiny stainless grill.

Great grill

I bought this grill in 2000. It has been the best grill I ever owned. Have replaced the burners 3 times (only $70 for all three burners at thepartsbiz.com). That is much cheaper than buying another 1-3 thousand dollar grill ever 5 years, which is the average lifetime of a high end gas grill! Look it up. Cheap gas grills in the 200 to 900 dollar range only last 2 years at best. The longevity of any grill is determined by it's storage location. Mine never sits in the weather! Looks like it just came off the showroom floor. Your new Weber grill (I also own 2 of these) will last just as long if you keep it out of the weather. But, you will still be replacing burners. The burning of LP gas produces CO2 and Water. Water is going to make them rust.
