Members Mark Model Y0202XC LP Liquid Propane Grill

by Janni
(Belleve, Ohio)

I haven't been a Sams Club member since 2004. I have had my Members Mark grill since July 6, 2003 and it has sat outside every winter, used every winter and summer and just this year (2011) I am replacing the burners, ceramic flame tamers and a couple of minor things. That cost? About $96.00 The exterior of the grill still looks brand new thanks to stainless steel. The locking caster wheels could have been a little more substantial because I had to remove them and place the grill directly on the deck since they bent and broke off from rolling the grill around. All in all for the money I paid at that time $662.11 (yes I still have the reciept)which also included a new propane tank and sales tax...it's been a great investment compared to the cheap junk out on the market these days. That's why I'm replacing the guts and keeping my grill alive and well. If Members Mark is the same quality today as they were then, I would never hesitate to purchase one.

Almost 10 years old
by: Chris

My grill is almost 10 years old and I am just replacing parts. It is out year round and this last year burried in snow. The last few years I have been lazy about covering it. The ignition stopped because of that but I lived without it. The burners need replacing this year. About $270 in parts and it should be as good as new. Compared to the other BBQs I have owned this is by far the best. And It still looks impressive.

Member's Mark Grill Rotting Away!
by: TedJ

I purchased my m
Member's mark Stainless Steel grill from Sam's about 5 years ago. It is fitted for natural gas. It has sat outside on my elevated deck ever since I bought it. It gets regular use during the summer and fall months.
My complaint is the entire tray below the burners has completely rusted away! Also, the steel grates holding the ceramic tiles below the cooking grill has rusted and collapsed. The cooking grill has some pieces that have come loose. The ignitor failed after the first year.
I know some of these parts are available, but the bottom of the grill body is shot. I purchased stainless because I was tired of cheap grill rotting away after a couple years, but this one seems no better!
Has anyone else had these issues? Is there a remedy?

Where to find replacement parts
by: Janni

I purchased my replacement parts online for my Members Mark Grill Model Y0202XC LP. Here's the address: www.allpartsgrills.com You will find a great selection of parts, however if what you need isn't there, go to Google and type in Members Mark and your model number and you will find other places offering replacement parts. Hope that helps so you can get back to grilling!
