Incredible, horrific odor of burning plastic while grill is on. As far as I can tell the odor may be coming from the red paint on the grill lid. The odor is shocking and overwhelming. I thought that running the grill on high for a few hours would caused the odor to "burn off" but it has only gotten worse, and no, there was no plastic remaining in the grill after assembly if your wondering that.

The odor may also be coming from the thermometer assembly as it seems to be concentrated in that area. Today is Jan 1 2010 and I cant use my new grill or return it today so it will have to go back 1st thing Jan 2nd. I did try cooking some ribs last night (before I noticed the odor of course) and due to the odor I noticed I threw the meat away to be on the safe side.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE!

Best Grill I Ever Had

This grill is great from the control of the heat to the grill cover. Controls work well with no flare up. Even the electronic igniter is great. I would buy this grill for my best friend.

Finally got the replacement hose but they forgot the ignition button... had to light it with a lighter. I did notice a toxic smell, seems to be coming out around the thermostat, doesn't smell inside the grill. I am hoping that this is only because it is new.

Excellent Grill B10PG20-2R From Sam's

Bought this a couple of weeks ago. It is red in Color, very attractive on our patio. Easy assembly. We have used it almost every night. Cooked steaks, Roasted Corn, did ribs and Chicken. We are very happy with it. We had one problem with it and that was a leak around the tank fitting which was probably my fault. The tank was old and did not have the latest OPD valve. They tank ran out of propane while I was burning the grill in for the first time and a fire started next to the tank valve. I shut it off with some heavy gloves but the big plastic nut that screws into the tank got melted a little bit. I took the tank and had the valve replaced. Checked for leaks with a new tank valve and full of propane. All is well.

Picked this Grill up The other day, got it home and was ready to cook. Got it off the floor (last one in town) at my Local Sams. Connected the hose to the propane and it leaked like crazy and also was missing the ignition switch. I contacted the company where this came from (victory land group) and they were helpful and will be sending what I need tomorrow. Didn't come with a booklet either. Also no LAVA ROCKS,, does this grill use Lava Rocks? Hope all works out as I am excited to try this grill out.

Good Grill so far

I purchased this grill yesterday. It took me about an hour to assemble it. It seems to be well built and easy to assemble. Very attractive red color with stainless steel. I cooked steaks on it today and it heated up well and cooked the steaks very nicely. So far, no problems.

I have had this grill for 2 months and have used at least twice a week since purchasing it. It is great. Easy to assemble, easy to maintain, heats evenly and cooks a great steak. I have had no odors and would think if you remove all the plastic beforre using it the first time you won't either.

Easy installation

The installation took about one hour. The Grill Guide document is excellent. All of the screws and associated hardware come in a sealed and labeled container. Very nice grill and seems sturdy.

Just bought one and cooked on it today for first time and it did a wonderful job ,no funny smells on mine ,I'd recommend this grill to anyone looking for one.
