Ducane 1605

Ducane was purchased by Weber in 2004 according to Jennifer, a customer service rep I spoke to today. I paid $1000 for my grill in November 2003. I was willing to pay a higher price becuase of the lifetime warranty on all stainless parts. My burners and lava grill finally gave out so I called the 800 number on the warranty card today. Jennifer told me when Weber purchased Ducane the warrant became void. Ducane/Weber refused to offer any assistance, other that to sell me replacement part. Stay away from the Weber and Ducane product labels if you value customer service.
