Charmglow is one of the most famous brands in gas grills.
It was introduced in the 1960’s. The early Charmglow grills, produced in the 1960s to the early 1980s
were known for their high quality construction and design. Grill models had
names such as Party Host, Master Chef, and Perfect Host. Early models were also
said to contain initials of the owners and their family members, as well as the
initials of some of their staff (for example, HEJ, JAK, TNK).
In the 1980’s, Beatrice Foods Company, a major food processing company
manufactured the grills. Recently, Charmglow grills have been acquired by
American super retail store, Home Depot. They use the brand to market and sell a
line of stainless steel grills. Charmglow grills are made for
Home Depot by two manufacturers,
Nexgrill (models with series number that start
with the digits 720) and the
Brinkmann Corporation (models with series number
that start with the digits 810).

The Charmglow 5 Burner Stainless Steel Grill
at
Home Depot gets mixed reviews from consumers. It looks to be a fancy grill, but the price should really give it away. I'm not going to lose sleep over a lower end purchase like some, though. If you're not willing to spend the extra money for a higher end brand, then there really is nothing to complain about. |
