Aussie Uluru Series Grill
by MIke Swinney
I purchased an Aussie Grill from Target and the burners are too close to the food rack. I can not even put all burners on low because they will get too hot and burn whatever is cooking. So I have to put every other burner on low and keep the others off. I sent Aussie an e-mail on their website to see if they had anything to fix this problem and all I got was a list of frequently asked questions that did not pertain to my question at all. Next time I buy a grill, which will be very soon now, I will stay away from Aussie Grills. Aussie Bushman Deluxe

Grill was sent with parts that did not fit. Seems as if some of the parts were meant for a different model of grill. Written instructions are very vague and at some points contradict pictures in instructions. A hole in the bowl of the grill is too small to accept the specified screw, or any of the other screws supplied. So far less than impressed with grill. 0/5 Aussie 6212

I purchased this grill at a hardware mega store. It was $99, and a perfect size for our needs. We just spent the entire afternoon trying to get it put together. In 6 different locations, the holes to attach panels and brackets were too small. The axel for wheels were 1/4" too short - so they couldn't be attached to the legs. The shelves - that go on either side of the grill - we 1/2" to 3/4" too big, so those couldn't be attached either. Click here to read or post comments. The Aussie Urulu Elite 5 by Jeri

The grates rust quickly. Can't use a brass brush to clean. Hand wash grates?? Stainless steel grill must be covered or rain floods grease trap and washes all over your patio / deck. Try cleaning that mess up. Aussie Urulu Elite 4 Nice On The Outside

I bought the unit just under two years ago to replace my 10 year old Weber. Looked great and had a side burner. It worked fine for about a year and then started showing signs of rust inside. Even with the burners cleaned, the flames were getting yellowed instead of blue. Then the bar across the back on which the burners rest rusted out followed by the drip pan. Bought the Aussie on sale at Menard's. There has been some assembly to every grill that I have purchased but nothing like the Aussie. Aussie Bonza Delux 3 in Michigan

Purchased about 5 years ago at Menards. I have had to replace something on it every year. Burners rust out in a year or two, ignitors fail, grates rust, catch tray rusted out. This year I priced out everything I needed to replace and it was $150. Bought a new grill instead. Aussie Bushman Deluxe
Just purchased the Aussie Bushman Deluxe on sale at Menards. Was assembled with relative ease by two women in their 60's. Works great! So far I'm very pleased with this small gas grill.
